Matadors Win 5-4 Nail-Biter Versus Muskies
The Hartford Matadors picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Glendale Muskies, 5-4. On the mound for Hartford was right-hander Dusty Thomas. He played a key role in the triumph. Hartford reliever John Bickel snagged the win, upping his record to 4-2. John Keefe shouldered the loss. Hartford currently is in last place in the Stars Conference West Division at 67-73.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 12th for Hartford. That's when Scott Lehn hit a 2-run double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher John Keefe to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It never gets old," said Lehn. "Winning, that is."
