Matadors Win, Sunderland goes 3-for-4
The Hartford Matadors topped the Montreal Canadiens, 6-1, in Stars Conference action at Ballpark of Tacoma. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hartford center fielder Prince Sunderland. The Matadors saw their record improve to 70-71.

The Matadors got a big at-bat from shortstop Andrew Flynn. For the game, Flynn went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Hartford a 2-0 lead.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Sunderland. "You've got to get results."
