The Glendale Muskies got a stellar effort from pitcher Arturo Ramirez, helping Glendale score a win over the visiting Joilet Jesters, 4-2. The victory puts Glendale at 55-85.

Justin Coker had a big run-scoring double for the Muskies in the bottom of the first inning. With Glendale leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Barry McLamb, who is tied for 3rd in the SC in wins with 13, and swatted a double to left. It was his 17th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Muskies ahead, 2-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Ramirez told the Glendale Gazette.
