Matadors Take Home 4-0 Win Over Portland
The Hartford Matadors picked up a win at Mad Ants Ballpark, dropping the Portland Mad Ants, 4-0. Gabe Vincent, who is tied for 9th in the SC in quality starts with 13, was the difference-maker. Vincent got the win, improving to 12-9. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Hartford improves to 84-52 with the win. They lead their division by 12 games.

Hartford used a clutch at-bat from Roy Blaylock to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Matadors ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Hartford manager Jesse Heugly.
