Starting pitcher Manuel Londono gave the Chesapeake Tailgators a rock-solid performance, helping them defeat the Lubbock Stampede, 3-2, in 16 innings. The Tailgators have a winning streak of 4 games.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the 16th when Mark Riley hit a solo home run off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Miguel Aguirre to win the game for Chesapeake. The home crowd went wild.
