Lasers Turn Back Muskies, 4-2
|
The Nashville Lasers converted a terrific effort from starter Scott White into a win over the Glendale Muskies at Lasers Ballpark. The Lasers won the game by a final score of 4-2. Harry Bowman, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 0.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Nashville, at 78-58, occupies first place in the Stars Conference East Division.
In the bottom of the 5th, Nashville took the lead on a 2-run single by Lee Peck. At the time, the Lasers were trailing 1-0, but Peck's hit with two outs against Glendale pitcher Terry Droubay put them in front, 2-1.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said White.
