The Portland Mad Ants dealt the Chesapeake Tailgators a 4-1 loss at Tailgators Ballpark. Jamie Creed, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. George Robertson locked down his 5th save. Chesapeake now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Chris Yost came through with a big-time hit for Portland. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Chesapeake manager Dave York.
