The Chesapeake Tailgators topped the Quebec Aces, 4-3, in Stars Conference action at Belmont Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chesapeake pitcher Nick Douglass. Douglass yielded 3 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 8-13. The win has Chesapeake at 55-79.

Jason Leuci came through with a big-time hit for Chesapeake. The left fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
