In a tight affair between the Fremont Marshalls and the Chesapeake Tailgators, pitcher Tarjei Wiese was in the zone. The Fremont right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Fremont is first in the Stars Conference West Division with a record of 77-56.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Joe Tibbs in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Melvin Gamboa to win it for Fremont and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Wiese said.
