Mad Ants Suffer 4-2 Loss to Hartford
|
Hartford turned a good effort from starter Kory Pullar into a win over the Portland Mad Ants at Ballpark of Tacoma. The final score was 4-2. Pullar picked up the win for Hartford, going 6 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 10-9. The Matadors go to 66-67, putting them 5th in the Stars Conference West Division.
First Baseman Tony Perez made an impact for Hartford, when he swatted a 2-run double off George Robertson in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Perez went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Pullar.
