Though he had a great game, Tony Baker could not single-handedly produce a win for Quebec. Laredo won the game, 6-2. Baker was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. The Ghosts improved to 54-78.

Brandon Hund had a big 3-run home run for the Ghosts in the bottom of the first inning. With Laredo leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ryan Klinck and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Ghosts on top, 4-0.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Hund.
