Canadiens Lose at Home, 4-3
|
Nashville registered a win at Oilers Ballpark by beating the Montreal Canadiens, 4-3. Pitcher Chris Rumrill was one reason why the Lasers triumphed. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Tom Herzing. The slumping Canadiens have dropped 8 in a row.
Shortstop Adam Tyndall made an impact for Nashville, when he swatted a 2-run double off Jeremy Davila in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Tyndall went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Rumrill told a Nashville Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
