Lasers Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Joilet Jesters and Nashville Lasers.

Nashville Lasers starter Sean Hill hurled his team past the Joilet Jesters, 4-2. Malcolm Freeman zipped up his 23rd save.

Nashville took a 3-2 lead on Steve Fites's 18th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Fites hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Joilet pitcher Howie Freel visibly frustrated.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Hill.

At 64-63, the Lasers are currently 4th in the Stars Conference East Division.
