The Joilet Jesters picked up a win at Ballpark of Joilet, dropping the Quebec Aces, 5-4. Steve Cates, who is tied for 2nd in the SC in strikeouts with 156, was the difference-maker. Chris Rumrill collected save number 28. Joilet improves to 75-54 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.

In the bottom of the fourth, Francisco Fierro delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Joilet right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Jesters in front, 5-4.
