Ghosts Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
Laredo registered a win at Ghosts Ballpark by beating the Portland Mad Ants, 3-2. Pitcher Byron Stanton was one reason why the Ghosts triumphed. Laredo reliever Ethan Yarbrough picked up the win, while Andy Martinez took the loss for Portland. Laredo sits in last place in the Stars Conference West Division at 60-66.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Laredo. That's when Corey Pryor, who is tied for 10th in the SC in extra base hits with 40, hit a solo home run off Andy Martinez to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Portland manager Will Berman, "let me know."
