Royals Earn 3-2 Win Versus Ghosts
Montreal Royals starter Alex Gomez pitched a strong game against the Laredo Ghosts at Ghosts Ballpark, leading the Royals to victory, 3-2. The win went to Pedro Rodriguez in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Dylan Diggs took the loss. The first-place Royals have won 4 consecutive games.

Montreal used a timely hit from Josh Keys to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Royals ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Montreal manager Bobby White.
