Jesters Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
|
Joilet turned a good effort from starter Jim Patterson into a win over the Nashville Lasers at Ballpark of Joilet. The final score was 3-2. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Joilet.
Joilet got a game-changing hit from Todd Korn. The pinch hitter blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Korn. "It sure beats the alternative."
