Law Socks 2 Home Runs in 2-1 Baxter Springs Win
The Baxter Springs Marshals used the hitting of third baseman Josh Law to subdue the Little Rock Governors, 2-1. For the game, Law slugged 2 home runs. Picking up the win was Jon Hoffman. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits. The left--hander struck out 5 and walked 4. The Marshals saw their win-loss record go to 69-54. At the same time, the Governors fell to 48-75.

Law had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a full count slider from Mel Duran, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Marshals a 2-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Law.

"We found a way to get it done," Law said.
