Velasquez Excels in 20-7 Chesapeake Win
At Tailgators Ballpark, the Portland Mad Ants and Chesapeake Tailgators were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Chesapeake Tailgators beat the Portland Mad Ants, 20-7, at Tailgators Ballpark. Chesapeake shortstop Danny Velasquez banged out 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 4 runs. The winner was Jim Wallace, who threw 104 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits.
