8-3 Loss to Ghosts Extends Glendale Losing Streak
At Field of the Muskies, the Glendale Muskies and Laredo Ghosts were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Laredo Ghosts defeated the Glendale Muskies, 8-3, in part because of shortstop Mike Nelson. Nelson went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Ghosts. Glendale is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

In the top of the second, 27-year old third baseman Jose Sanchez hit a 2-run home run. The 8th home run of the season for the Laredo third baseman put the Ghosts on top, 2-0.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Glendale skipper Jon Greenberg.
