The Quebec Aces picked up a win at Reagor Dykes Stadium, downing the Lubbock Stampede, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for Quebec was left-hander Diego Cortes, who played a pivotal role in the win. Josh McQuaid came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. With this game in the books, Quebec is 61-54, Lubbock 53-62.

Quebec used the timely hitting of Ryan Collins to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Aces on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
