The Portland Mad Ants topped the Glendale Muskies, 3-1, in Stars Conference action at Mad Ants Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Portland pitcher Oscar Orduno. The loss makes Glendale 56-59.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Mad Ants had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the first, when first baseman Alex Aime hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Terry Droubay and made the score 2-1, Mad Ants. Aime was 1 for 4.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Portland manager Will Berman. "It's usually not just one thing."
