Hurler Jaylin Moyer gave the Joilet Jesters a solid start. The native of Ft. Worth, Texas helped his team defeat the Fremont Marshalls, 3-1, at Ballpark of Joilet. With the win, Joilet upped its record to 59-57.
In the top of the ninth, Josh Napier stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Marshalls were trailing 3-1, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when Kyle O'Hare made a terrific pitch and Napier popped out. Gone was the dream of a Fremont comeback.
