Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Royals
The Montreal Royals did just enough to sneak past the Chesapeake Tailgators, 4-3, at Turtles Ballpark. Montreal pitcher Oscar Orduno, in particular, had a standout performance. Montreal pitcher Vince Rice earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Rich Hepler suffered the loss. Montreal leads the Stars Conference East Division by 10½ games.

The Royals got a clutch hit from shortstop John Troia. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Royals.
