The Hartford Matadors beat the Lubbock Stampede by a score of 4-1. Hartford right fielder Jason Seagle deserved the lion's share of the credit. Seagle went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Matadors. Hartford goes to 70-43. The win puts them 11 games up in their division.

Seagle contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Hartford get the win.
