2021 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Little Rock Governors.
The Lubbock Stampede picked up a win at Reagor Dykes Stadium, knocking off the Little Rock Governors, 5-3. Starting pitcher Dan Wenger played a key role in the triumph. The winner was Wenger. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Nate McClaskey. Earning his 26th save for Lubbock was Paul Garcia.
Brock Farlow came through for Lubbock with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. The third baseman went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
"It's a mindset," said Wenger. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
