Laredo Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Laredo Ghosts electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

The Laredo Ghosts beat the El Paso Chupacabras, 5-4, at Ghosts Ballpark. The win was due in part to right fielder Doug Grimm, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Nick Thompson, 3-6, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings.

Dale Hendrix won it for Laredo in the bottom of the eighth with a run-scoring walk off Mike Heustess. In the game, Hendrix drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
