Ghosts Snatch 5-4 Win from Stampede
The Laredo Ghosts racked up a win at Ghosts Ballpark, bumping off the Lubbock Stampede, 5-4. Tom Kitko, who started for Laredo, pitched effectively for his team. Laredo pitcher Daniel Mitchell got the win. He's now 4-2. Steve Brady was tagged with the loss. The victory gives the Ghosts a record of 64-46.

Laredo won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Steve Brady on the mound for Lubbock, designated hitter Craig Murphy hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Ghosts fans to their feet.

"We own our own mistakes," Kitko told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
