Laredo Ghosts starter Byron Stanton was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nashville Lasers, 4-3. Vasco Toto picked up the win in relief. John Shannon took the loss for Nashville. The Ghosts win now puts them at 44-67.

In the bottom of the sixth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, 24-year old left fielder Jake Way won it for Laredo. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Way hit a first pitch fastball from David Bernal for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Way told reporters after the game.
