|
The Laredo Ghosts downed the Hartford Matadors, 8-5, the largest share of the credit belonging to first baseman Craig Megna. On the day, Megna went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Ghosts. The Ghosts are now 57-54, while the Matadors fall to 66-45.
Laredo took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Marcus Walkden hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Ghosts.
"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Megna told the Laredo Herald.
