Raska drives in 3 runs to Light Tailgators Fuse
The Chesapeake Tailgators welcomed the Montreal Royals to an night game at Turtles Ballpark.

Chesapeake first baseman Brad Raska had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Montreal Royals, 10-4. Chesapeake starter Cory Gregerson was credited with the win after throwing 102 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 5-4.

The Royals had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Tailgators going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old catcher Ray Branson came to the plate. Branson hit a 2-run double on a 0-1 curveball from Montreal hurler George Wilson. It was Branson's 11th double of the year.

"Put the ball in play and good things will happen," said Raska.

Chesapeake's record now stands at 45-65, placing them 4th in the Stars Conference East Division.
