Tailgators Take Tight Tangle
The Chesapeake Tailgators did just enough to sneak past the Laredo Ghosts, 3-2, at Tailgators Ballpark. Chesapeake pitcher Juan Millan, in particular, had a standout performance. Chesapeake has now won 3 straight, while the Ghosts have lost 3 in a row.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Chesapeake. That's when Ray Branson hit a solo home run off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Joe McLaughlin to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

Millan called the win "a collective effort."
