The winning streak continued for Hartford.

The Hartford Matadors topped the Quebec Aces, 4-1, in Stars Conference action at Belmont Park. The standout performance belonged to Hartford pitcher and Chicago, Illinois, native Andrew Severson. The win gives Hartford a season record of 62-42.

Severson was in the zone, shutting down Quebec hitters over 8.1 innings. Severson, who threw 97 pitches, allowed no runs on 1 hit. He also tallied 9 punchouts.
