Glendale Muskies starter Joe Bringman turned in an exceptional performance against the Nashville Lasers at Field of the Muskies, resulting in a Glendale win, 2-1. Dylan Diggs, now 4-5, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 2. Glendale is now 49-54.
Nate Volk was the walk-off hero for Glendale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Muskies first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Every loss stings," said Nashville manager Kenny McElhaney. "This one is no exception."
