Behind the hitting of John Walker, the Hartford Matadors stopped the Portland Mad Ants, 5-4. Walker was 2 for 2 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Matadors. The 4th-place Mad Ants dropped to 53-47.
