Nelson Martinez, who is tied for 8th in the SC in innings pitched with 134.2, was locked in. The right-hander led the Laredo Ghosts to a 5-3 win against the Glendale Muskies at Ghosts Ballpark. Joe McLaughlin picked up his 22nd save of the season. With the victory, the Ghosts upped their record to 51-49.

Nate Graf broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Ghosts in front, 2-1. For the game, Graf drove in one run.

"What we get, we earn," Martinez told the Laredo Herald.
