Erck Powers Muskies Offense
The Glendale Muskies stymied the Joilet Jesters, 6-2, at Ballpark of Joilet. Bryan Erck had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Glendale. Glendale reliever Mark Crocker picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Patterson absorbed the loss. The Muskies now have a record of 48-52.

Glendale grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Erck hit a grand slam home run off Jim Patterson. His 9th home run of the season put the Muskies out in front, 5-1.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Glendale manager Jon Greenberg. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
