Lasers 4-3 Winners Versus Laredo
The Nashville Lasers faced a tough opponent in Laredo pitcher Bill Reno, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Lasers Ballpark by a final score of 4-3. Reno went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Reynaldo Beltran closed the game out for Nashville, earning his 7th save. The Lasers saw their win-loss record go to 52-49. At the same time, the Ghosts fell to 49-52.

Nashville first baseman B.B. Bugbee helped the Lasers go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Bugbee hit a run-scoring single off Laredo pitcher John Brown.

After the game, Nashville manager Kenny McElhaney applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
