Lasers Top Muskies to Even Record

Gregg Carter, who is tied for 9th in the SC in triples with 4, led Nashville to a triumph over Glendale. The final score was 4-1. The first baseman went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 2 RBI. Nashville pitcher Matt Pfluger got the win, upping his record to 6-4. Jason Cox got the loss. Reynaldo Beltran picked up the save, his 5th.
Chris Harmon took Glendale hurler Jason Cox deep in the top of the sixth. His solo home run put the Lasers on top, 2-1. In all, Harmon had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Glendale manager Jermaine Allen.
Nashville's record now stands at 49-49, placing them 4th in the Stars Conference East Division.
