Chupacabras Defeat Tailgators, 4-2
The El Paso Chupacabras scooped up a win at Chupacabras Stadium, dumping the Chesapeake Tailgators, 4-2. Jason Seymour, who is tied for 4th in the SC in complete games with 1, was essential to his team's success. The Chupacabras, at 50-47, sit in second place in the Stars Conference West Division.

In the bottom of the seventh, El Paso third baseman Ross Dorough hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it 3-2, Chupacabras.

Chesapeake manager Dave York said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
