The timely hitting of Brock Farlow helped the Lubbock Stampede down the Portland Mad Ants, 4-1. Farlow went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Stampede. Jaheem Brown, 3-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. The Stampede are now 47-48.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Farlow hit a fastball from Rich Wilkinson for a 3-run home run. The Stampede, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Farlow.
