6 Straight Wins for Ghosts
The Laredo Ghosts bested the Hartford Matadors, 6-3, at Ghosts Ballpark. Ryan Egli was one of the standouts. He went 3-3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 runs. Joe McLaughlin, now 3-0, was credited with the win. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Daniel Mitchell converted his 6th save in 9 tries.

Corey Pryor had a big 2-run triple for the Ghosts in the bottom of the third inning. With Laredo trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Gabe Vincent and swatted a triple to center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ghosts ahead, 3-2.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Egli.

With the win, Laredo raised its record to 52-43.
