Hartford Matadors starter Ryan Barmore turned in a top-notch performance against the Nashville Lasers at Ballpark of Tacoma. The result was a win for the Matadors, 5-2. The Matadors move to 53-35 with the win, while the Lasers drop to 52-36.

Gong-sun Thum had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fourth for Hartford. With the bases loaded and the Matadors leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Thum.
