|
El Paso turned a good effort from starter Lorenzo Villarreal into a win over the Fremont Marshalls at Hedgehogs Park. The final score was 6-2. El Paso occupies second place in the Stars Conference West Division at 49-39.
Adam Wright cracked a home run off Brian Wilkey in the top of the first. His 2-run blast put the Chupacabras on top, 2-0. In all, Wright had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Wright told the El Paso Daily News.
