|
Nashville had no answer for Hartford Matadors starter Kory Pullar, who flummoxed Lasers hitters as the Matadors cruised to victory, 7-0. Pullar picked up the win for Hartford, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-5. Picking up his 1st save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ricky Garay.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth inning, but Pullar was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Nashville trailing 2-0, Pullar retired Bobby Roe, who popped out.
Hartford has a record of 47-41, placing them 4th in the Stars Conference West Division.
