Lasers Come Up Short at Quebec, 2-1
The home crowd had a good time watching the Nashville Lasers and Quebec Aces get after it.

The Quebec Aces earned a close win over the Nashville Lasers, thanks in part to Nick Dragon. The Quebec right-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. The victory gives Quebec a record of 47-42.

The Aces got a big at-bat from third baseman Rich Simmer. For the game, Simmer was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Quebec a 2-0 lead.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Dragon.
