The Laredo Ghosts and Little Rock Governors provided some drama for the home crowd.

The 11-10 Little Rock win over Laredo was due in large part to Dustin Sheedy. The Governors third baseman went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jim Unknown earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Bobby Phillips, who is rated as the 84th best prospect by BNN, came through for Little Rock with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Phillips, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
