Laredo and Little Rock duked it out and the Ghosts came out victorious.

The Laredo Ghosts beat the Little Rock Governors, 6-4, at Ballpark of Newport News. Chris Vanderberg, in particular, was impressive. He went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Laredo reliever Jason Emary was the winner. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Carlos Tellez.

Vanderberg had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Carlos Tellez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Ghosts a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Vanderberg.

"If it's down the middle," said Vanderberg, "you might as well hit it."

With the victory, the Ghosts upped their record to 46-39.
