Montreal Earns 1-0 Win
|
Montreal turned a good effort from starter T.J. Harrison into a win over the Lubbock Stampede at Turtles Ballpark. The Royals won the game, 1-0. The winning pitcher was Harrison, now 6-8. He tossed 9 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 9. The win for the Royals lifted their record to 52-35.
The game-ending blow was delivered by Hector Uribe in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Barron to win it for Montreal and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Harrison said.
