The Laredo Ghosts topped the Baxter Springs Marshals by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Skyler Swan. Swan belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Ghosts on the day. Nick Pelkey picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Conrad Walton was tagged with the loss. Butch Saulters recorded his 12th save for Laredo.

Laredo relied on the hitting of Alex Camarro to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ghosts on top, 5-2. For the game, Camarro had 1 home run and 3 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Skyler is still learning," said Ghosts manager Josh Miller. "The sky's the limit for him."

Their 45-41 record puts the Ghosts 4th in the Stars Conference West Division.
