Lasers Take Tight Tangle
|
The first-place Nashville Lasers picked up another win.
Nashville turned a good effort from starter Jaden Melrose into a win over the Fremont Marshalls at Lasers Ballpark. The Lasers won the game, 2-1. The Lasers now have a record of 52-33 with the win over Fremont.
Nashville got a knockout punch from Jim Brannon. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Brannon said.
