Baxter Springs Gets Another L
The El Paso Chupacabras got a good effort from starter Jason Seymour in defeating the Baxter Springs Marshals at Chupacabras Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Seymour got the win, improving to 4-7. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Brandon Jones nailed down his 8th save.

The Chupacabras got a big hit from right fielder Jalen Joyner. Facing Baxter Springs pitcher Marco Sanchez in the bottom of the fifth, Joyner pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 7th home run of the season put the Chupacabras ahead, 4-0.

Joyner told a El Paso Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
