Chennault Leads Ghosts to Win
Laredo designated hitter Joe Chennault played a vital role in his team's 8-5 conquest of Chesapeake. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Laredo. The winning pitcher was Vic Lucero. His record now stands at 3-7. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Ghosts. Picking up the save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Appelbaum.

Chennault contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Laredo get the win.
