The Fremont Marshalls beat the Joilet Jesters, 4-3, in 10 innings at Hedgehogs Park. Fremont left fielder Armando Cuevas had an outstanding performance. He was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. With the win, Fremont upped its record to 51-31.

The Marshalls got a clutch hit from third baseman David Lovell. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Marshalls.

"We've got a great group of guys," Cuevas said, "and we're having fun right now."
