Belmont Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Quebec Aces and Lubbock Stampede.

The Quebec Aces beat the Lubbock Stampede, 4-3. Quebec pitcher and Torrington, Connecticut, native Justin Baker led the way. Baker picked up the win for Quebec, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 8-4. Picking up the save was Adam Bowman, his 3rd.

Kyle Newby, who is tied for 6th in the SC in doubles with 17, aided the Quebec cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4.
