Sedas, Stampede Too Much for Ghosts
The Lubbock Stampede defeated the Laredo Ghosts, 11-9, in Stars Conference action at Reagor Dykes Stadium. Ângelo Sedas pulled his weight. The 10-year veteran went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6. Dan Kleinman claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 2-2. The 5th-place Stampede now have a win-loss record of 41-42.

In the bottom of the seventh, Sedas put his team in front with his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Jimmy Harris, made it 10-9, Lubbock.

"Feels good to get the job done," Sedas said after the game.
